Meet the Doctors
Dr. Russell V. Stover -
Dr. Russell V. Stover is a 1984 graduate of the Baylor College of Dentistry, where he was elected to the Odontological Honor Society, Omioron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society and received the Academy of Operative Dentistry's award for outstanding achievement in operative dentistry.He is a member of the Denton County Dental Society, The American Dental Association, and a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Stover maintains a general practice with emphasis in preventative, cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
He has been very supportive of the community through long term affiliations with the Rotary Club, the Lewisville Education Foundation, and Christian Community Action. He has lived in the area with his wife, Sara and Sons, Ryan and Bradley since 1984.
His calling to dentistry was attributable to the positive influence and role modeling of his grandfather, Vinny A. Smith, a 1935 graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry.
Dr. Wakefield -
Dr. Brian Wakefield is a 2001 graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry. During his education he was elected to the Odontological Honor Society, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society. He completed a one year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Baylor and graduated in 2002. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Texas Dental Association.
Dr. Wakefield has been practicing in our office since January 2006. He is currently here full time since selling a dental practice in Allen which he established in 2002.
He lives in the area with his wife, Heather, and young sons, Cole and Drew.
He was influenced by his father, Charles Wakefield, D.D.S., who is currently the director of a post graduate residency at Baylor College of Dentistry and lectures worldwide.
Dr. Trieu -
Dr. Chi Trieu who is originally from the Fort Worth area, has had an active interest in the field of dentistry since the age of 16. In fact, her first summer job was working as a surgical assistant at an Oral Surgeon’s office in high school.
After completing the TAMS program (Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science) at the University of North Texas and earning a B.A. in Biology at the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Trieu moved forward with her career plans in Dallas.
She graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry- Texas A&M University with a D.D.S. degree in 1999 and an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Certificate in 2000. She has also studied Advanced Restorative Esthetics through Baylor College of Dentistry.
Dr. Trieu is an active member of the Dallas County Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She has been awarded the President’s Award in 2003 from Dallas County Dental Society as well as the New Dentist Award in 2005. She has recently been honored with the status of Fellow from the Academy of General Dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Trieu enjoys spending time with her son and husband. She enjoys traveling and cooking, and when time permits, she enjoys reading in her pastime.
